How is anyone feeling about the choice between Obama and McCain in terms of health care?

I am particularly unhappy with McCain's contention that a free market will lower costs through competition. We have seen that not work very well in other areas, and there are simply too many uninsured people out there---including children---that don't have time to wait until the "market" brings costs down and provides them with affordable health insurance.

In terms of Obama, his rhetoric is nice, but like Bill Clinton before him, I think he will probably fold under industry pressures and lobbyists' money, and will most likely fail in any attempt to provide universal coverage. I hate to feel so cynical, but I have learned over time that cynicism and politics mix well together.

I am also unhappy about Obama's health plan, since he completely ignores the nursing shortage, making no real mention of it whatsoever. Very short-sighted.
