Just wanted to check in and say hello, as I've just joined this site. I'm a diploma RN with a BSN, going for a MSN in the next year...I hope.

The majority of my 35 years of nursing experience are in the OR, though I have done some home care and parish nursing, as well as teaching continuing education at a local college. My current role is as Director of Clinical Informatics, which is fairly new to me. I am making it up as I go along.

I see a fair number of familiar names here; some are bloggers that I follow, some are Twitter-ers (is that a word?), and some I know from other nursing social sites.

I will look forward to meeting even more folks here.

Welcome! I believe karma points are earned by making forum posts and perhaps by blog posts---unsure on that point and will try to find out!

I'm sure, after so many years as a nurse, your karma piggy-bank is overflowing!
