My hosp prepays tuition for courses up to 5,000 per year and you have to work off the payment. you have to repay if you get a d or worse. There is little/noincrease in pay but it does increase your maketability.

Yes, marketability is key at this point in time. I think it's worth it to get a BSN.

My hospital reimburses up to $2500 per year for an undergrad degree, up to $5000 per year for a post grad degree. There's no obligation to stay there for the undergrad tuition reimbursement, but if you use the post grad money then you agree to remain employed there for 2 years following the date you complete the degree. Obviously, you have to get a C or better in order to qualify for that reimbursement - they never pay fees up front.

In addition, the Medical Staff and Auxiliary have scholarship money available, usually up to $1000 per award, on an annual basis. Every little bit helps.

That's great. Too bad more employers don't see what a good investment that is.
